PACIFIC CHEER REGISTRATION Download the form, print it out and fill it in, and bring it along to your next class and hand to your coach. PACIFIC CHEER TEAMS All of our cheerleading teams compete at national & international cheerleading competitions and perform at local events throughout the year. The teams are taught skills according to their ability levels in the following categories: STUNTS Stunting is a group skill; there are three positions used for stunts: Side Base, Back Base, & Flyer. Each of these positions is equally important and your stunt coach will decide which position suits you best! As you progress through the levels the stunts will become more challenging and require a higher skill level. TUMBLE Tumble is an individual skill and is similar to gymnastic floor skills. Each cheerleader progresses at their own pace. JUMPS, CHEERS, MOTIONS & DANCE Each cheerleader will be taught the fundamentals of jumps, cheers, motions and dance and will continuously increase their skills. Jumps, cheers, motions & dance are individual skills performed in a group or individually. Competitive cheerleading is an athletic sport combining gymnastics, dance, acrobatics, spirit and performance. Pacific cheerleaders are self motivated in all aspects of life. Our athletes have personal drive. They work hard and achieve their goals. Pacific cheerleaders have a positive attitude, are team players and are upstanding role models. PACIFIC SCHOOL TEAMS Pacific Cheerleaders coach and assist several school teams in starting and running their own cheerleading teams. School cheerleading is a combination of athleticism, entertainment and student leadership. A school cheerleading team supports the school, builds school unity and supports other athletic teams while developing their own athletic skills. Let us know if you would like us to help you start a cheerleading team at your school!
